Clove's backstory
Cloves get their name from the French word “clou” which translates to “nail” – pretty fitting considering the physical appearance of a clove! PURE Clove is extracted from the dried flower buds of the clove tree in Indonesia. This powerful oil has numerous beneficial properties. Its main chemical constituent, eugenol, makes it a very invigorating essential oil – ideal for a warming massage or anytime you want to recharge without losing momentum during your day-to-day routine. Like most spices, clove contains potent antioxidant properties.
