Carrot Seed's backstory
Carrot Seed essential oil is steam distilled from the seeds of the Daucus carota botanical – more commonly known as “Wild Carrot” or “Queen Anne’s Lace.” It has a delightfully warm, earthy, woody, and herbaceous aroma! Historically, this oil was thought enhance circulation, soothe skin complaints, and improve digestion. Cool fact: Carrot Seed was also traditionally used in perfume manufacturing to contribute a woody nuance to Oriental scents.
Today, Carrot Seed is often used in skin care products to promote a beautiful complexion. Mix a drop into a quarter-sized amount of your facial lotion to experience the benefits for yourself!
