Your home and the world we live in
The environments in which we live affect almost every other area of our wellness. Keeping the home you live on and the home you live in clean is critical to a healthy, wellness-centered life.

Most household cleaning ingredients are designed to eat away dirt and stains. Unfortunately, these chemicals can be harmful to your family’s health. Studies have shown they can damage your lungs and get onto your skin, often leaving behind residue that lasts long after you’re finished cleaning.
Our cleaners rely on ingredients like natural solvents and enzymes that effetively dissolve and rinse away dirt. In fact, every EcoSense home cleaning, laundry, and dish cleaning product is designed to be safer, effective, affordable, and eco-friendly because of our concentrated formulas.**
We view home cleaning as an integral part of wellness! That’s why EcoSense products use safer, biodegradable ingredients, and naturally effective cleaners and enzymes instead of harsh chemicals.*
Our products are rigorously tested to have exceptional performance - so you don’t have to sacrifice effective cleaning for safer ingredients.
Home cleaning products often have unnecessary fillers and water, and use far more plastic than is needed. When possible, we concentrate our products, which means, we don’t use or ship excess water. This helps reduce transportation emissions and plastic waste. We are eco-friendly because of our concentrated formulas.** That’s how we deliver Environmental Wellness.
More cleaning for less money! We offer reusable spray bottles, with super-concentrated formulas that avoid unnecessary fillers and excess water. That means you only pay for what actually matters and you get a lower cost per use.
Ingredients we don’t use
Most EcoSense products are concentrated, which means we ditch the unnecessary fillers and include only the good stuff in our formulas. EcoSense doesn’t use water as a filler so we can use smaller bottles and use less plastic. That means you end up paying more for a product that’s mostly just water. That means you aren’t paying for a product that is mostly just water and we aren’t shipping unnecessary amounts of filler-water. Our super-concentrated household cleaners, for example, come with enough concentrate to make multiple spray bottles - all you need to do is add water!
By concentrating our products, we can reduce the size of everything in the supply chain. Less storage, fewer storage tanks, fewer trucks, fewer trips, less cardboard used in shipping boxes, decreased fuel to ship the products, dramatically less greenhouse emissions, and, most of all, less virgin plastic is used in the first place.*
Fill your mixing spray bottle with concentrate to the directed concentrate line on the side of the bottle (2x, 4x, 6x, 12x).
Fill the spray bottle with tap water until it reaches the fill line.
When it’s gone, simply repeat these steps reusing the same spray bottle.
*The percent biodegradable of a formula based on the percentage of ingredients that are readily or inherently biodegradable, as demonstrated by recognised methods such as OECD 301 or OECD 302. We also include water and ingredients that are already in a stable, naturally occurring or environmentally compatible end state, such as minerals, salts, and naturally occurring organic acids. These materials do not require further biodegradation to reach their final environmental form.”
**Melaleuca calculates environmental savings by comparing concentrated EcoSense products with the amount of conventional products needed to provide the same number of uses. Because concentrated products require smaller and fewer bottles, they use less plastic and reduce the number of products that must be manufactured and shipped. These reductions are used to estimate plastic avoided, fuel saved, and greenhouse-gas emissions avoided through reduced plastic production and transportation – measuring the benefits based on equivalent product use, not simply bottle-for-bottle comparisons.
